Acol is half-way between Birchington and Minster and is referred to as the smallest village in Kent with just 320 population.   There are two small towns with every type of shop and facility just over a mile away and no more than fifteen minutes away there is the largest shopping centre in Thanet at Westwood Cross with a Debenhams, M&S, Waterstones etc. Ramsgate has a fine Waitrose and there are numerous Tesco and Asda stores
The village of Acol is in Thanet, a largely unexplored part of England with beautiful villages hidden in the wonderful east Kent countryside.  Close to the historic towns of Canterbury and Sandwich, with the most listed buildings of any town in Britain, and only minutes  from the glorious beaches of Minnis Bay,  Margate,Broadstairs and Ramsgate
